Palestine: Peace not Apartheid by Jimmy Carter is very easy to read. I missed so much growing up in my own little world of the 60's and 70's. It is helpful for me to understand the history of events in Israel and Palestine as experienced by Jimmy Carter - in a general diplomatic sort of way. The appendix explains UN resolutions of 1967, 1973, 1980 and The Camp David 1978 agreement. Official support for the Palestinian people is good to see.
